What type(s) of holistic medicine or wellness have you studied and what do you specialize in?
Yoga, meditation & helping women create a mindful morning routine
Tell us a little about you. What’s your backstory, and how did you get into holistic wellness?
I’ve been practicing Yoga on and off since the age of 15. 10 years later I started to notice the difference when I skipped my practice in how I felt physically, emotionally & mentally.
I wanted to learn more so I signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training, with no intention of teaching. Around the same time I signed up to train as a Holistic Therapist and for a few years, I ran my first business alongside working in spas and volunteering for Macmillan as a Therapist.
It was quite draining physically and I knew I needed a change. So one morning I decided to take my Yoga practice outside in a local park and thought how nice it was. What if I offered a free weekly class during the summer.
Knowing how good a Yoga practice made me feel, I knew I wanted to help others have the same opportunity. So from there, I started teaching Yoga. Fast forward 10 years and I still love it and have started to incorporate Well-being coaching alongside my teaching.
What’s your preferred style of work?
I love teaching and working with people in groups & 1:1. I offer a range of ways to work with me online within my group membership, 1:1 coaching & teaching yoga.
Plus I run a few in-person workshops & retreats each year.
What is something you’re most proud of in your work?
Being a witness to clients’ transformations. I know what is possible and to see this unfold for each client and to hold them accountable to their goals is an incredible honour.
