What type(s) of holistic medicine or wellness have you studied and what do you specialize in?
Ayurvedic Medicine, Postpartum Doula Work, Womb Healing + Yoga Therapy | Focus on women’s wellness and somatic healing.
Tell us a little about you. What’s your backstory, and how did you get into holistic wellness?
Ayurveda found me through my Yoga journey while healing from a debilitating dance injury. My physical healing journey brought me face to face with my dharma and from there, my spirit has taken the lead.
In my first year of college, I journeyed to India to immerse myself in the birthplace of these Vedic Sciences. Once I came back to the states, the mission was clear and I am now 8 years onto my path and honoring my divine assignment as a space holder, guide, and teacher.
What’s your preferred style of work?
I am multi-faceted in my offerings depending on what the situation calls for.
I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Panchakarma Therapist, Doula, and Bodyworker who coaches and counsels health seekers and postpartum mamas, along with being an educator who trains both Massage Therapists and Yoga Teachers in Ayurvedic techniques.
What is something you’re most proud of in your work?
I am most proud of the ways I have been able to transform almost all I’ve walked through thus far in life, both personal and health-wise, into the core of the offerings I share with the world.
My lived experiences inform me deeply about how to connect to the collective and it’s my hope that the wisdom I’ve distilled from what I’ve experienced can support someone else on their healing path.
Where do you get most of your health info from (outside of your traditional study). Are there any podcasts you love, books you’d recommend, or newsletters you enjoy getting?
I truthfully consult a lot with my peers and colleagues to learn more about what the collective is moving through. I lean heavily on Vasant Lad and Maya Tiwari’s work.
They are both some of the most authentic and last living beings of their kind in my opinion, who are still actively working with groups and educating from this deep reverent heart space I align with.
Womben Wellness Collective is a profound source of inspiration and a huge modern-day light on the feminine mysteries.
Where do you meet most of your clients?
I meet my clients online or via referral, and occasionally in person when I am in my local hubs where I offer hands-on services and in-person experiences.
If you could give one piece of advice to a new holistic practitioner, what would it be?
Connect with your unique spin on the healing you want to share with humanity, hold the vision and trust the process of remaining true to what the divine wants to move through you.
Our role as healers is to be conduits for divine energy to reach earth. We must clear the way, and the way that we walk our path fortifies how we shine our light and share that light with others, illuminating the path back home to Self. <3
