Spotify wrapped came out this week.

But I guarantee you already knew that, even if you don’t use Spotify to listen to music. Why?

Because one of the most fun things about Spotify Wrapped is that it’s easy and fun for people to share!

Take me for example…

I’m not a Swiftie, but I am a Chris Junkie.

Can take the girl out of the country but can’t take the country outta the girl, I guess

🎶My 1st dance song at my Wedding was to Chris Stapleton.

🎶4 of my top 5 songs have him singing or featured.

🎶I make my husband put Monday Night Football on early so I can watch Chris (and Snoop and Cindy Blackman) rock the MNF anthem.

So…did I already know I loved Chris Stapleton? Well, yes.

But…did I know I was top .5% of his fans? Not until Spotify Wrapped!

There’s a big lesson to learn here from Spotify.

Your customers love to learn new things about themselves.

This isn’t exactly new nes. You’ve seen this done in the holistic health space already:

  • Dosha Quizzes
  • Astrology Signs Articles
  • Chakra Posts

We love these because with all of the information that’s floating out in the ethers, one of the ways we sift through what’s important is by considering what is relevant to us.

Think of it like this…

👉You might find it interesting that Taylor Swift has the most monthly listeners on Spotify (108.9 M)…

👉But you’re going to find is fascinating if you’re a top .5% listener out of all of the Swifties out there…

One is interesting. One is relevant.

You might be thinking, “Ok, but I don’t have the data analytics and marketing budget that Spotify has.”

And you’re right.

But there are still some fun, simple ways to share data back with your audience:

  • If you own a yoga studio → Make a fun quiz about what yoga class you’d like based on your music tastes
  • If you own a fertility clinic → Share how many babies were born in 2023
  • If you’re a Reiki practitioner → Create a post about which Chakra needs the most TLC based on common symptoms you hear in your practice

If I were doing this for all of YOU, I’d make a fun quiz on which type of content creator you are.

Ope, wait I already did that!

Hi, I'm Rachel.
Your Biz Bff + New Marketing Team.

I've been you. After graduating from business school and working at a digital agency, I left the 9-5 grind and went *all in* on studying Ayurveda, Yoga, Holistic Nutrition, and Reiki. I co-built a wellness brand for 3 years until I realized my magic isn't in being a practitioner, but in being the bestie, marketing team, and hype woman behind the scenes.
